CLEVER HARVEY DIGITAL MARKETING PROGRAMME (SAMSONITE) – CREATIVITY

I joined in a marketing and data analytics course offered by “Clever Harvey” in collaboration with Samsonite. In this course, w e learned about the topic of data analytics and were introduced to Google Data Studio during the first week of the course. In these following weeks, we made an effort to learn more about Samsonite as a business, including its target market, messaging, marketing and sales strategy, etc. We also produced reports using the company’s data. Then, as a component of our capstone project, we were required to choose one of Samsonite’s products and develop an in-depth strategy report for it that took into account all the relevant elements. In the end, It helped to develop my entrapreneul skills and will help in future to thrive my business for longer period of time.

Learning outcome 3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

We used to have a session every day at the same time during the course, and occasionally the scheduling wouldn’t be as handy due to the other activities that were scheduled for the day. I thus made sure to get everything in order by creating a to-do list and finishing all my responsibilities before the session started in order to prevent missing the sessions. I used to be able to focus and become more absorbed in it if I completed the other tasks first.

Learning outcome 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

I have missed two of the sessions due to the personal reasons but then also I have worked on assignments on weekends and was able to cope up with the other batchmates. I even delivered the assignment they gave me on schedule and to a high standard. Hence, it is showing my commitment and interest towards this programme.

Learning outcome 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognise the benefits of working collaboratively

We were put into four groups for our final project. We had to develop a marketing plan there, and we had to think about a lot of different things and come up with original concepts. To produce higher-quality work, we broke our job up and worked together on the project. We scheduled calls and offered support to one another as needed. We were able to mix a lot of our ideas and develop innovative marketing strategies by working on this project together.

Learning outcome 7: Recognise and consider the ethics of choices and actions

We were not permitted to share the private data and information about Samsonite that they provided with us. I made an ethical judgment by honoring their choice and just using the data for that reason.
