Working out

The pandemic bought with it a number of difficulties, one of the most significant of which was not being able to maintain my physical health, all gym’s and other activities had to be shut down to decrease the risk of spread, and we were forced to stay home as a part of the lockdown, sitting at home all day without any physical exertion caused me to become very unfit, during this time I came to a realisation that I needed to do something about this, I already had ample of time considering the school was shut down as well, hence I decided to try and integrate daily workouts at home in my routine (LO 1). I started the process off by researching how I can do guided workouts to avoid the risk of injury or any other harm, I looked into a number of options including watching YouTube tutorials, trying out workout routines from social media but at last I decided to use the nike fitness app, it had preplanned workouts which could be customised to my liking. I worked out for 45 minutes a day, every day of the week. (LO 3 and LO 4). It was highly challenging at first, to find the motivation to work because I got accustomed to the lazy lifestyle that the pandemic had brought with it, but taking help from my family and friends I was able to eventually accomplish it. (LO 2).
