I find the act of gardening calm and relaxing in for my mind since I am able to pass my leisure time while contributing to an activity that has good return of investment. This experience has been able to build my patience and persistence while simultaneously enlightening me towards the beauty of nature.

I catered to learning outcome 2 by applying persistent efforts to ensure that the plant got ample water, a generous amount of fertilizer etc. which required daily persistent efforts for a time period of 2 months. In addition, I had to trim the dead leaves of the plants on a weekly basis.

I catered to learning outcome 3 by planning the process it will take me to grow my plants along with managing the resources required, estimated time for completion etc. The formation of a plan helped me organize the logistics, time management etc. from the start of ploughing and burying the seeds to watering the plant to its full growth.

I catered to learning outcome 4 by showcasing perseverance since this experience consumed a lot of time for managing the plants, ensuring they are watered properly, providing them with fertilizer etc. which had to be done on a day to day basis. During some days, the plant required more maintenance and some days it required less maintenance.

I catered to learning outcome 6 by considering the cause of deforestation and the loss of landscape due to urbanization. I decided to grow plants in my backyard in order to beautify my backyard and appreciate nature by giving back to it.

I considered the ethics of my actions when it comes to growing plants since plants are organisms that require constant nourishment. I considered the monetary cost of my endeavor (fertilizer costs, water bill, equipment costs etc.) However, the end result of the endeavor makes it worthwhile to see a seed grow into a fruit bearing plant.

Overall, I would consider this endeavor a success since I was able to grow a seed into a fruit bearing plant. The hard work and time put into this plant made me appreciate the essence of hard work and the beauty of nature.
