Learning Photography

Photography is a skill which I wanted to learn from a long time and I have a lot of interest in it. In it, the use of different angles, shots and color settings make a subject look much more cinematic and brings out the value of it. To learn that skill, I practiced everyday and took a lot of different shots on different subjects.

Using a camera and taking the perfect shot was really hard but throguhout the process I discovered some strengths and weeknessess. The strengths are that, I am able to use the camera efficiently, I know all the settings and how everything works but my limitations are that I am not able to find the perfect balance between the angles, positions and the settings. This was a limitation that took time to change but through practice and learning different settings, I was able to get close to the perfect balance.

The challenges I faced was that it was very time consuming to find a good shot and that caused me to loose a lot of time. It was hard to overcome but with practice I was able to overcome that and learned how to manage time and use my skills accordingly to do what I am best at. I learned how to make normal shots look even more cinematic and make them look professional. It was hard but overcoming time management is really important in every experience.

I made a plan in which I divided my tasks based on the difficulty of the task. I started out with understanding the camera and how it works, then I understood the different angles and shot types. After this I started to practice daily and in the end I was able to understand photography much better. This way after all of it I started to take photos of animals and learn wild life photography.

Even though I really wanted to know more about photography and how to take cinematic shots, it was hard to be committed to it. This is due to my lack of time management skills and how that made me loose a lot of time hence making me loose all the determination I had to learn photography, but with practice and patience, I was able to overcome that barrier as well and I started enjoying the process. It is not easy for me to show determination for something which makes me loose time as time is a valuable asset and through practice and patience I was able to regain that lost determination.

Through this process I was able to gain a lot of new skills and knowledge on how to take better shots and make normal shots look cinematic. These skills will be useful in the future as I would need to be time efficient in order to be productive.
