There was a event organised by students of grade 11 where we had to go to the beach and clean it.We cleaned the beach on every weekends for a month and for atleast a hour.This was a very big global issue which was plastic waste and I saw that there was nothing being done to resolve this issue which is why i researched about it and got to know more about the issues because of it which is why i decided to join the event and contribute to the community.The strands in the focus are

The issue is the plastic waste on the humans and the environment.As i started researching about the issues created because of plastic waste which are it can hae negative effects on humans,it can impact the food chain,groundwater pollution,land and air pollution and many more.As i got to know about this i went to the event to serve the community it was a very small step but if everyone can do atleast this much earth will be a more better place to live.After knowing more about the issue it made me wonder why there in no one doing something about it.After the event I felt good that atleast i did something about this issue.

The learner profile i developed was knowledgeable as because of this event i was able to learn more about the issue and contribute to the community.As i cleaned the beach there was a lot of plastic waste lying there which would have impacted the people but because of us the impact will be reduced.The main thing i learned from this is even the small steps matter alot and it can help the world if everyone atleast do something about it even if its very little.
