School farewells are one of the most awaited event and so was the Farewell of the batch 2022. I volunteered in the decoration team of the farewell, because I am interested in doing craft and found an opportunity to fulfill my interest and also help the organizing committee in the farewell decorations.

LOs = 2 and 5

LO 2 = Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Even though I am interested in doing arts and craft, I am not really the best at it. Hence, in the start it was difficult to understand and follow the decor leaders. But then, they helped me understand it and gradually I got a hang of it. I got to learn new skills in arts and craft which also help me in the future.

LO 5 = Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
The farewell was going to happen on 3 different venues and each venue had a different decoration. So, we were divided in groups and were supposed to work on the decoration of a particular venue. Working in group made our work a lot more easier as we were able to divide work and also help each other. But, since there were a lot of people, there were clash of ideas sometimes because of which there was miscommunication which led to delay in getting the resources, but we demonstrated and improved our communication skills and figured things out.

Overall, being a part of the farewell decoration team, was a very fruitful experience as I got to work with people I have never worked with before and also got to improve my skills.
