Cycling and gym

After working out, I always felt happy and it also made me feel better about myself for doing something productive, so I used to follow this habit every other day. However, after vacations, this habit of mine faded away, and my goal was to bring it back and adjust it to my schedule. So I made a timetable and a planner of what my workout would look like. I decided that I should do at least exercise 5 days a week and make time for cycling with my friends on the weekend.

LO 3 Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience: I had to plan a well-balanced plan which would strengthen my core and lower body even more so that I could perform more fiercely in Bharatnatyam, and for that, I made a document where I included all my findings and research. It also meant that I had to eat highly nutritious food so that my body could support the exercises that I had planned out.

LO 1 Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth: I have been told that I have good core strength by my sports teacher and my trainer when I used to go to the gym a few months ago, so I would like to work on strengthening it further and also work on my lower body flexibility and strength.

LO 4 Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences: I planned to run on the treadmill for 30 mins each day at home whether or not it is followed up by exercises, as getting movement in the day is the key to gradually building a routine.
