CAS-Skipping(Activity)

LO-1(Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth)- My strength was I already knew how to skip but because of the excess weight I was carrying it was quite difficult to reach higher numbers.

LO-2(Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process) – The challenges I undertook were skipping daily no matter how tired I felt , even though I used to get cramps in the leg because of skipping at such heavy weight , the new skills I developed in the process were the ability to skip continuously and faster with some variations.

LO-3(Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience)- I planned this experience by setting up reminders and creating checklists of whether or not I skipped today , this helped me stay on track and not skip days.

LO-4(Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences)- I showed commitment and perseverance by skipping daily and pushing through the pain , I dont remember there being any days that I skipped the skipping process , an if for some reason I did skip a day , I would make up for it the next day.

LO-6(Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance)- the global issue we are dealing with here is obesity and not maintaining a healthy lifestyle , these days children are getting problems because of obesity , if I share my own example , I was pre-diabetic at 103 Kgs and that was a wake up call for me to act upon this issue.
