14 days work out the challenge (Activity)

The most trending thing that I saw in the lockdown after Dalgona coffee was the 14 days Workout Challenge by a youtube called “Chole Ting”. I need to work a lot on my fitness, lose some inches and get fitter for a healthy body and lifestyle hence I decided to perform this 14-day fitness challenge. I saw some reviews about this challenge and they got insane results I had to try this out. While doing the fitness challenge, I demonstrated the following LOs:

LO 1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

My strength is that I am flexible enough to do that exercise, but I can develop it much more. I don`t easily give up and hence I chose this rigorous 14-day workout challenge. I need to work on high-intensity interval training to get fitter and I can see after the workout I have got fitter and lost 1 inch. I have developed areas for growth during this CAS experience: flexibility and stamina.

LO 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

I have done similar workout sets before but consistency and matching up the pace had always been a challenge for me. The challenge that I faced was initially, I couldn`t match the pace of the video because of a lack of fitness and stamina. The closer I came to the 14th day, my stamina improved and I could eventually match the pace. I developed higher stamina, higher consistency, and self-management skills during this process.

LO 3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

This workout required a minimum of half an hour and 10 separate minutes as pull-down time, hence 40 minutes in total. It was difficult for me to adjust to this in my busy schedule but how I did that and managed my time well. I finally initiated it and started the same on February 6, 2022. To keep the consistency for 14 days, I used alarms and notifiers to remind myself regarding the workout, so I do it in a steak and get the best results possible. The evidence for the same is attached below:

LO 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

After the first day of workout the next day, my joints felt very clenched. They were painting maybe because of sudden physical exercise over time. I felt like giving up on it because I was not able to perform the workout effectively on the second day but I showed perseverance and commitment to the CAS project. Anyhow, I did it on the second and third days. Eventually, my body got used to it and then after the workout, there was no pain as I got closer to the 14th day, this also means I got more flexible.

I also demonstrated several learner profiles during this CAS experience. I was reflective as after each day of workout I used to reflect on my performance and try to improve it the next day. I was also balanced as I made sure that I balanced my physical health with my studies and social activities.

The highlight of this experience for me was losing approximately 1 inch of my waist after this workout. All my hard work and effort eventually paid off and I was delighted.

I would love to continue practicing this workout as it improved my flexibility, and stamina and I lost inches too. I enjoyed and learned a lot from this CAS experience.
