Running is an important part of life because it keeps you physically fit throughout your life. Human habitat changed as a result of the lockdown, and many physical activities were impacted, including running. That is why I decided to keep this as a case experience. I chose to accomplish these goals by running every day at night for at least a month. This is one of the most interesting ways I’ve found to test my physical abilities in a long time.
L1 Identify my strengths and develop areas for growth: I realized my weaknesses were due to a lack of running, my joints started paining and my weight started gaining it was not getting controlled by diet too. It is critical to recognize and improve our weaknesses. As people used to work from home during the covid-19period, we had online classes and meetings, and we had to sit in one place in one room because there was complete lockdown, so I used to get cramps from sitting on one chair and just looking at the flat screen, so I thought of running for at least a month to recover my fitness and to get back into shape.
L2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process: As I said that I took challenge to complete regularly running for almost a moth, I started it on 30 November and it is almost a month now. I am able to see some of the changes in body, the pain in my joints has reduced even by body has started to get into shape. The challenge I have taken makes me more active in my daily routine, with regularly of 10km approx. is being made.
L3 Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience: Organizing my schedule is something I struggle with, but I’ve learned how to do so through my cas experiences. I planned my cas experience so that I would travel at least 10-15 kilometres on this particular day. I used to take the long route on weekends and the short route on weekdays.
L4 Show commitment and perseverance in their CAS experience: Aims to return to a normal routine and get fit in one month after completing my night running experience. During this experience, I discovered new things about my endurance and strength. Even when I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish the activity, I was able to push myself further and further. This experience was very important in my daily life and had a significant impact on my health.
