I have been seeing many people litter around throwing their waste anywhere they can see, I have especially noticed this around the beaches, due to this there is a lot of pollution in the seas and the beach, and there are many of plastic packaging littered around the rocks, the sand and around the beach, I have decided to group up with some other students and gather up people to clean the beach, I have decided to go multiple times to the beach to clean, we have cleaned the beach well trying not to leave any trash around as seen in the figure, we saw that the amount of trash was not reducing each time we visited the beach to clean the trash would pile up there.

LO 3 –

Our team had planned days that we would visit the beach and had gathered multiple volunteers to help clean the beach, the team had also distributed roles and responsibilities to each member, for example, there are materials each member had to bring for the beach cleaning, we also had planned to clean different areas of the beach on different days so we could reduce the amount of trash across the beach.

LO 4 –

Our team had shown commitment and perseverance throughout the project, the team made a commitment to show up for each session of beach cleaning, and together we persevered by cleaning the beach quite well as seen in the figure.

LO 5 –

Due to people littering around without any consequence in mind the aquatic life of the nearby water body is struggling due to the plastics and other toxic materials and substances we have decided that we would help clean at least the beach so that the litter from the beach doesn’t affect the aquatic life. 

LO 6- The global issue here is pollution and cleanliness. These things should be taken care of because someday it might impact you in future. Furthermore keeping beaches clean would help the life there as it would not harm the animals or people living there.

LO 7 – Few people just throw away trash and after some time toxic gas is released which harms human health and the people living over there. We are just trying to solve this issue and raise this concern forward of keeping the beaches clean.

The learner profile I showcase here was balanced as beach cleaning was a task which required a lot of time from the schedule and going with the group the learner profile showcased was ” communicator” because we had to go together to that beach so it was important that the timings are feasible for our group members.
