2 Week Workout Challenge (Activity)

Physical Fitness is an essential part of our well-being. As due to my studies and busy schedule I am not able to intend any time towards maintaining my physical health. As to slowly progress towards nurturing my health, I thought of taking up a 2 week challenge and exploring my workout routine. Hence this will allow me to look at my strengths and weaknesses and help me work on my physique. Being physically active reduces the risks of diseases along with that can improve your brain health, help manage weight, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities. 

L1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

As to slowly progress towards nurturing my health, I thought of taking up a 2 week challenge and exploring my workout routine. The skills that I would develop through this activity can be time-management, commitment and this can lead me to a happier life.I discovered that I have good flexibility and improved my productivity throughout the day, along with that I developed the skills of great strength and enhanced my physique . It helped me improve my daily mood. Overall it was an amazing experience.Even after the challenge I continued my working out.

L2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken developing new skills

The biggest challenge that I recurred was the lack of commitment and motivation. After 2 or 3 days of the workout my body started aching due to muscle stretch and had a lack of motivation to continue, but I wanted the result and fought for the process to get successful results. Moreover the challenge that I faced was balancing my routine with exercise time, as my schedule for the day was really busy and tight, I didn’t have enough time to execute the workout plan so I had to wake up earlier than before and exercise. But due to these challenges I also started waking up early during the morning and it helped me as an individual to improve my well-being and mental health.

L4-commitment to and perseverance

Commitment to the two week workout was the most difficult and strenuous part of the whole experience. I had to fight my will for procrastinating the workout to get apt results and for the challenge to successfully show results on my physique. Even though all the tough and intense workout was really strenuous and tiring, I tried and showed perseverance to complete the challenge. This led to good improvement throughout my wellbeing.

The learner profile attributes that this CAS activity will be focusing on are reflective, balanced and risk-taker. As the process is about exploring my strengths and weaknesses and coping up with the same and reflecting on my weaknesses. Balanced is catered as a medium to manage my workout time along with my studies and busy schedule. Risk-taker was hence taken as I risked taking up a tough challenge never performed before.
