PHYSICAL WELL-BEING

During the pandemic, it has become very essential to be fit mentally and physically because we were at our homes doing absolutely nothing hence it became very essential to work out every day at least for an hour to maintain my well-being. I will follow SDG 3 which says good health and well-being. From this experience, I have learned the importance of exercising and being physically active also it helped me feel active and fresh all day.

LO 1- Identify your own strengths and develop areas for growth

When I started working out I could not hold an exercise for more than 1 minute but by being regular I have seen the difference as I am capable of doing them easily now, which makes me really happy and proud. Now that I am aware of my weaknesses I can work on them. It is very important to know your strengths and weaknesses because it helps you work on yourself

LO2-Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

I have never shown commitment as I would do it for 2-3 days and take a break then continue after a long time which obviously showed no results and didn’t impact my strength on a larger scale but this time I exercised at least 5-6 times a weak for 2-3 months which was very difficult as I had to push myself to work out and not be lethargic. To be honest, after a point of time I even started to enjoy it as it became an essential part of my daily routine. I feel very proud to start this and continue it too and I learned if I get serious I can actually achieve anything I’d like and it is important to test yourself and learn about new things

LO 3-Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience, As mentioned above our physical health is and should be our no. 1 priority, not only physical but mental and spiritual too. Devoting my time to this experience has turned out to be one of the best decisions for me, not only have I improved my stamina but also my energy levels have risen and I can clearly see the difference too also my body structure has drastically been better than before. Personally, I feel for working out and stretching your body the best time is in the morning as we have just been out of bed and need motivation or a boost to start our day with a positive note which personally yoga, stretching, and practice provide me with. So I made it a habit to work out every morning and make it a priority. I love planning my work out I am very poor in executing it which I certainly improved via this experience also I think it will be a bit easier in the future.

LO 4- Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

After completing this experience I feel I showcased commitment throughout the experience. I have tried this before but it never worked out for me as I would skip so many days and didn’t take it seriously so that is why I was not perseverent enough but this time things were quite different and it made me feel so proud of myself and how I could change my self with just a bit fo push. I needed to get up on time which was nearly impossible and get myself to work out each day that is where I needed to commit myself and turn it into a habit. Talking about in general showing commitment to things is sometimes easy and sometimes snot it depends on the activity and how fast are the results seen so I get the motivation to do it the next day but it is actually very important to be perseverent as it helps you build a healthy lifestyle.

I really look forward to again starting exercising daily in the vacations to be back on track and maintain my physical strength.

I developed to be principle as a learner profile as I didn’t skip days if I felt lazy or any other excuse and the best part was the results and how each day I could increase even by a second it felt so good and it gave me the motivation to continue.
