Discription:

Farewell 2022, something I was looking forward to participate, to show my gratitude to my seniors. Its Fountainhead Schools ritual for the 11th grades us, to give a proper farewell to the 12th graders. I volunteer to participate in the farewell dance performances. I also helped in choreography and on day event managing.

L1: (Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth)

Dancing was something I was never good at, and the announcement for the participation came 25 days before farewell. This was my biggest challenge, to improve on dancing, learn the dances, synchronize it with everyone and polish it how much ever I can in the giving time. I took out time from my school calendar to work upon my dances, as there were 4-5 songs that we had to practice and perfect. As i’m not very good at dancing that I knew that was the area of improvement for me.

L2: (Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken developing new skills)

This was my biggest challenge, to improve on dancing, learn the dances, synchronize it with everyone and polish it how much ever I can in the giving time. Time was the issue that we all faced. Other than that the on day duty, there were a lot of things that weren’t ready or not in place. Me and other volunteers were called for intimidate help. Everything was hectic but we completed everything just before the seniors arrived. With time always being against us we managed to finish our tasks.

L4: (Commitment to and perseverance)

The farewell pratices started around 25 days before farewell, with 4-5 songs and me not being a good dancer I had to dedicate myself to learn the dance, syncronizre it and polise it as much as it was possible in the time I had. I even reseculed my classes so I could attened extra priatices and imrpove.

L5: (Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively)

Group dances are all about working collaboratively and in sync. Because it was a group performance everyone needed to dance on the same beat and the same steps, doing it collaboratively makes the whole dance performance better and us being the choreographers for our dances, the input everyone gave helped deciding and finishing songs faster cause there was more than 1 mind at work. This is how collaboration has helped us in many different ways.

Take away:

This farewell was a memoriable exprience for us and the 12th grades, danceing someting that im noit a ace at, this exprience helped me concuer my weekness and work upon it witing the time ristrictions I had.
