CAS experience (Service – Eudethon)

In this CAS experience, I helped the organizing team pack merchandise for “Eudethon” which was recently organized by some students of our school from grade-12. As their team was not big enough to handle all the details of the people who had participated in it, I wanted to help them pack the t-shirts and medals. As there were people from other cities as well, there were more than 100 parcels that had to be packed. So firstly, we had to get a list of the people who had participated. Then we had to get their details printed (as a piece of detailed information with their address and phone number that had to be put on the top of the parcel) and then we had to sort out the sizes of the t-shirts. After doing so, we had to organize the medals according to the sub-event that they had participated in and after doing that, we had to cross-check everything thrice to make sure everything was organized and every parcel was according to the requirements and proper details. It required a lot of communication skills and coordination and organization was the key here to do this service. This service can be considered under LO 5 which is “Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively”.
