My experience of digital media photography was very fruitful and I made a lot of fond memories. In photography, we have to keep in mind various factors such as lighting, angles, focus and frames for a perfect photo. I struggled with that at first but gradually found my photos to be improving. Now I have learned the basics and rules well can can click a good photo. A photo is about capturing the right moment at the right time. Consent before taking a human’s photo is very important. I used to find it difficult to ask random people to click their pictures. But with time and effort I overcome that fear. I found that I was better at nature photography than human photography. Nature is still for the most part (except animals) and hence, I can take my time to adjust at click the photo in my own time. While humans are unpredictable in their motions and move a lot. I have gotten quicker and better with practice. We were encouraged to click pictures not only at school but at home as well to shape our skills. Identifying our strengths and weaknesses as such helps us use our strengths for better and turn our weakness into strength. I have learned to keep trying and practicing and not to give up in face of failure.
It was important for us to be committed to complete this three month course. There were times that i used to get upset about my photos and think that they weren’t good and I wasn’t good at photography. But I tried to still stay motivated, committed and to not get disappointed. Furthermore, I tried to attend every class on time to not miss anything important which could cause further understanding problems. It was sometimes difficult and we wouldn’t have good picture even after whole slot and it was crucial to stay motivated. I often start things like writing a journal (and commit to being persistent and committed) but often end up quitting. This experience has shown me the importance of such commitment in life.
