Anand utsav was an event organized by grade 12 students for support staff and admin of the school and It was an event done just to give back to the hard work that all the support staff and admin staff do for the school and not just for the students. The event had multiple activities and games planned for the staff after their duties got over. I was part of the one-day team and was in charge of different sections like photobooth and resources and Garba as well.

LOs

Lo 1-

identify your own strengths and develop areas for growth. Me being an introvert dint know how to talk with a group apart from the professional talk and how to gather people as I was in charge of the photo booth and had to get out of my comfort zone and ask didis to come and click pictures there. I made them try different poses and also suggested them few new ones.

Lo 5 –

Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively, I was working with a friend and there was a hierarchy given to us and I had to follow it and since there were multiple venues and the event was in a big scale working collaborative was very essential for us to ensure smooth and efficient work.

Lo 7 –

Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions. I chose to be part of this event since I always believed in the ideology of giving back to others and this event was a great way to showcase it. Since it involved the support staff I got to know the hard work it takes for the support staff to arrange everything, so it was quite a right choice of mine to volunteer for this event and show my gratitude to the support staff.

Overall, I enjoyed the event a lot and got to know and meet a lot of new people apart from that I also came out of my comfort zone and developed new skills like friendly talk with a stranger. I demonstrated a leaners profile of caring during this entire event.
