Learning French

Learning French has been a creative and challenging activity for me. It has required me to use my imagination and creativity to understand and interpret the language. I started by setting learning objectives (LOs) for myself, which helped me to focus on my goals and keep track of my progress.

My first learning objective (LO1) was to learn basic French vocabulary and grammar. I achieved this by attending language as a subject in school and using online resources like duolingo etc. to practice my speaking, reading, and writing skills.

My second learning objective (LO2) was to improve my confidence in speaking French. This was challenging for me as I was self-conscious about making mistakes. To overcome this, I started speaking French with my classmates and friends, even though it was difficult at first. I also joined a French club, where I had the opportunity to practice speaking in a supportive environment.

Finally, my fourth learning objective (LO4) was to learn about French culture and history. I achieved this by reading books about French culture, watching French films, and attending cultural events. I also volunteered at a local French event in the school, where I had the opportunity to interact with French speakers and learn more about their culture and food.

Overall, learning French has been an enriching experience for me, and it has helped me develop my creativity, confidence, and cultural understanding. I have gained a new perspective on the world and have developed a deeper appreciation for language and culture. I believe that this experience will benefit me in the future, both personally and professionally.
