Cricket is the world’s most popular outdoor sport and one of my favourite sports. Cricket is something I’m incredibly passionate about. One of my dreams has always been to be a cricketer like Virat Kohli, who is my idol and the greatest of all time. My life goal is to become a well-known cricketer, play for the Indian cricket team, and represent my country on an international stage. In India, approximately 10 crore people play cricket.
L01: I’ve been playing cricket for 4 years and it’s been a fantastic experience filled with numerous wins and losses. In all competitions or tournaments, as well as in our alleys, I play as an allrounder. An all-rounder is a player who is capable of batting and bowling. I am also the team’s captain. I’m good at both batting and bowling. I had been unable to play cricket due of the epidemic, but I participated in this competition once the Covid-19 had calmed down a little.
LO3: Because I enjoy cricket so much, I entered this event to put myself to the test and see what I’m capable of. During this event, I grabbed 5 wickets and scored 150+ runs. We won the entire competition, and my effort earned me the MVP player award and Best Bowler award , as well as a trophy and a medal. That tournament has greatly boosted my confidence.
LO5: Cricket is more than just hitting a ball with a bat; it also demands teamwork, social skills such as cooperation, communication, and learning how to deal with winning and losing. Social engagement is an excellent approach to meet new people and form new friendships. As the captain of my squad, it was my responsibility to trust and guide the team in the proper route. Your teammates will look up to you and follow your direction because you are the captain, whether you want them to or not. This approach propelled our team to a brave win.
