Convocation was an event I volunteered for, I was a part of the escorting team however during the event everyone was helping everyone in their roles. It was the graduation ceremony for the batch of 2022, they would receive their diplomas and the parents were to attend the event too. My assigned role was to make sure the guests reach the hall for the ceremony without any trouble in directions, and to also make sure that they have a look at the art exhibition.

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
I wanted to develop my management skills, how to further handle things properly and communicate things through. Though the role assigned was of just escort, when we reached there was more help needed so along with a few others I was able to manage more and get more insight into how we are supposed to handle real-time changes.

LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
I was placed in a group with people I would not talk to on a daily basis so to be able to communicate with them effectively I had to step out of my comfort zone and understand how to share responsibilities amongst a team.

LO7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
Since convocation was a school event, we definitely had some basic rules and ethic codes to follow to make sure it stays a formal event. Such as being respectful to the parents, greeting them politely.
