The majority of raising a child is spent on education and learning. I had the opportunity to teach football to underprivileged kids at my school (fountainhead school). The ultimate sport is football, which is played by teams all around the world. It was a wonderful experience for me to teach students of a governmental school andshare the skillsthe skills and drills that I have learned
Learning outcome 1:-
When I taught football to underprivileged students, one of my skills was that I created precise drills and routines to ensure that the kids didn’t get hurt during the lessons or run into any issues. My shortcoming was that I couldn’t orally instruct kids on how to conduct the drills. Due to my limited proficiency in the local language and the children’s lack of knowledge in the national language, I was unable to communicate with them. Knowing where I fall short, I’ll work to do better by picking up the language there.
learning outcome 2:-
I started and arranged activities for the kids. In order to ensure that the kids learned as much as they possibly could, I managed the session’s duration well. I created a timetable for the kids that included warm-up exercises, drills, breaks, and enjoyable games. I had to make plans for how things would go, how well the session would go, and how much the kids would learn because I had 1-hour 30-minute sessions on the weekends. Planning and starting were both challenging due of the obstacles, yet they were both successful. I had no idea I could teach someone a sport; it’s a special talent I possess. Knowing how to plan and take action will improve learning outcomes.
learning outcome 4:-
The difficulties listed above made the task challenging because the kids were getting frustrated because they didn’t know the native tongue. But in order to deliver accurate and valuable information about the game, both emotionally and physically, dedication and determination were needed. It is difficult for me to commit since I get disappointed easily, but the young kids were pleased and having a great time throughout the session, which made me glad about my dedication to it as well.
learning outcome 5:-
I worked together with my friends in the community service programme while instructing them in football. Because of our cooperative efforts, the session was successful. Because we all learn more when we work together, I have no trouble working with others, and this session was no exception. Because of the cooperation among all of my buddies, I never felt difficult. Collaborative working is crucial because through exchanging ideas, we learn more and can better understand one another’s personalities and ideals. Together, teamwork helps people form close bonds and learn to accept each other’s likes, dislikes, strengths, and flaws.
conclusion:-
The learner profiles I created include thinker, knowledgeable, communicator, and principled. The service I am giving to the underprivileged kids and the activities we have planned for them are both related to this CAS experience. The children from less fortunate backgrounds benefited from learning about new sports and pastimes. This community has benefited from my learning since I forced them to acquire new knowledge. I was successful because every youngster had fun and had learned something new. Even though I was playing with them, I forced myself to have fun. I developed the ability to influence others to learn new information. I would alter the drills because more sophisticated drills would enable them to develop and succeed more successfully. I want to run more sessions in order to contribute more.
