learning music has always been my passion since my very childhood. I have been into learning and exploring different musical instruments since the age of 10 and since that, I have been into learning the violin. I have been learning violin for around 6 years and to be honest, the violin has really helped me calm my anger and give a sense of comfort around me hence, music fascinates me. But now onwards, I really wanted to explore other instruments, and learning piano really grabbed my attention as there was a lot to explore with the scales and its playing style. Adding on, the way the piano sounds made me so enthusiastic to learn piano.
learning outcome 1 and 2:
firstly, I was able to find my strength and weaknesses. talking about strengths, due to my past experiences with learning a musical instrument, I was able to understand all the scales and notes that could lead to the formation of different sounds. I was able to help myself understand all the instructions very easily. However, even after knowing so much about music I really suffered getting my hands comfortable with the keys. talking about my weaknesses, I really struggled in my hand comfortable with the keys of the piano as violin only involves playing all the notes with one hand and the other hand is used to bow the strings. Being honest, I took me much time and efforts to be comfortable playing this instrument and even though I gave like 2 hours daily to practice, I couldnt get to my expectation as I assumed at he start.
learning outcome 3 and 4:
moreover, throughout this entire process, organizing myself was the most difficult challenge I faced. I had a hectic schedule in my diploma year which really made me have insufficient time for me to practice more. I had to adjust my tuition timings and learning by myself was difficult so I had to make myself dedicated to spending time practicing piano at night time. in the very beginning, it was hard to stay to my word but my dedication eventually gave me results that made me more curious and interested to learn more. For me personally, initiating the planned task was hard as conveyed before, I was having so many tasks and submissions going on which made me improve more upon my time management skills. Honestly, a commitment was a difficult task at the very beginning but as time proceeded I was really happy with al my decisions taken as the results were being highlighted in my playing methods.
to conclude, I really enjoyed this experience as it was really interesting learning something that really passionate me. from now on I will still continue to learn this instrument and get to like a professional level which is my dream. Although it was difficult at the start still it was a very good and very great experience.
