Art has always been one of the subjects of my interest and thus wanting to dig deeper into this area and gain more technical skills in it I wanted to learn new media apart from the ones that I already know. I really wanted to do this for a long time but always found an excuse somehow thus as a part of this experience I learned a new medium which is photo ink.

LOs:

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
One of my strengths is my skill and interest in the art field. I really have a love and passion for drawing and painting thus as a part of this experience I wanted to develop this interest and skill further and learn new media in art that can help me in my artwork in the future. Thus this experience helps me to develop and grow in the areas that I already know something about.

LO3 – Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
After thinking about trying it for a very long time I finally took the time to initiate this experience. I had an image in mind already and just wanted to execute using the medium photo ink. I, first of all, gathered the materials I’m going to be needing and created a setup where I could sit and paint after that, I started with the actual drawing and painting part.

LO4 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
I gave regular time to the painting which was at least an hour every day and I also made sure that I did not make myself lazy in the process to skip one or two days in the middle, this is how I showed my commitment towards this CAS experience. I completed the painting within the time frame that I thought I would and maintained the same level of interest throughout the work from the start to the finish.
