The Stock Market is a place to invest money and get returns on it. Being at a minor age, I have not invested any money in the stock exchange but I have invested in a fake portfolio to see the returns on my investments. This is done by following the guidelines of SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India). Using the portal “Moneybhai by Money Control” allows us to invest a lump sum virtual amount of 1 Crore Rupees. Everything is original, the stock prices, the indices, and market time but only the amount is virtual. This portal is to learn the stock market analysis and to give a lot of time to investing money.

The Learning outcomes which I gained are LO1, LO2, LO4, and LO6.

Learning outcome 1 was gained when I identified my strengths and weakness. In the stock market, we require complete dedication discipline, and patience which I identified in myself. My weakness was also identified in me and it was that I learned stock market analysis at a slow pace which took a lot of time. I feel good that I know about it now because it is important for us to know as we learn from our feedback.

Learning outcome 2 was gained when I took challenges. The challenges I had were to learn the graphs of stock analysis, terminologies, the company’s financial data evaluation, and fundamental and technical analysis. This was challenging because the graphs are different and we have to learn them from scratch. I overcame these challenges by daily analyzing 3-4 charts on the Tradingview portal. If I didn’t overcome these challenges then I won’t have enough knowledge to invest money in the stock exchange. This new skill will be useful in my future to give me profits/returns on investments. It is important for us to learn new skills because it allows our brain to develop and grow.

Learning outcome 4 was gained when commitment and perseverance were required in the stock market. Continuous efforts were required to gain more returns/profits. Daily analysis of the indices and stocks is required because of the trends in the market. And this is where I have gained learning outcome 4. Commitment is also required because with proper commitment, dedication, and discipline we will learn about the stock market.

LO 6 was also gained. Reading about global issues and current affairs helps a lot with the stock market trend. The prices when go up may be due to the positive insights of current affairs and vice versa when goes down. Global issues contribute to the stock prices which indirectly increase/decrease the worth of my portfolio.
