Nimaaya opened a teenge clinic in Surat. For their launch, they organized a flashmob, in which I participated too. The learning outcomes I achieved through this are LO 1, LO 2, LO 4and LO 5.

LO1: Identify your own strengths and develop areas for growth

Though I love dancing, stage fear has always been one of my weaknesses. So, doing a flash mob was really exciting for me but also a little scary. Hence, I decided to use my dance skills and develop my confidence through this experience.

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

To choreograph and rehearse the flash mob, all participants were required to meet every week. I worked and communicated with strangers and stepped out of my comfort zone. This was a challenge for me.

LO4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

With many upcoming deadlines and assessments, it was a little difficult at the start to manage my time and attend the rehearsals every week, however, I knew that I will benefit from this experience in the future and hence, decided to keep going.

LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively

Since it was a flash mob, many other people had volunteered. We distributed our tasks and worked collaboratively which resulted in more efficiency. It made the overall experience much smooth, easy, and quick. Additionally, it was also fun working with so many people and hanging out with them.
