Working collaboratively within a team is something I find easy to do because I think a part of me has always desired to be a leader of the pack and manage people. Leading and man management is something which comes natural to me and is something in which I don’t face any issues. Similarly, in this case, even though I was not part of the core committee of the event, as a volunteer, I was able to cooperate and work collaboratively with fellow volunteers in decor department.

It is a skill which every individual should have or develop because in future, there will be many situations and circumstances where in you will have to work for / within a team or a group of certain individuals, with or without your will. In such situations, a person should be able to handle and manage those individuals and get the best out of every individual. In this event, leadership and teamwork was a vital cog behind the success of the event. Without any leadership and management, this could not have been a success.
