During the time of lockdown, we all were locked in our homes and were not able to go out and work, so during this time I too had not able to go outside and do some workout and maintain my fitness, due to this I had lost my fitness and I became unhealthy. But now after the lockdown has been over and also all the gyms have opened I have decided to join one of the gyms and again start working on my fitness level. And also I got motivation for the same from my friends who have been motivating me seeing the lockdown and telling me to go to the gym and do some workout which is a good habit for me and could be also for many other people. This is how I have gathered some guts to go to the gym and start workout as soon as possible. And also I have made timetables for different exercises like on Monday – chest and triceps, Tuesday – back and biceps, Wednesday – legs and shoulders and so on. This is how I’m working on my fitness.
LO 1 – In this learning outcome, some of the strengths which I was able to see in myself were the courage, motivation, and passion which I was persuading while going to the gym, and also one of the advantages which I had was gains that are inherited and passed on in my body through genes from my parents this helped me to generate more power and strength while lifting dumbbells, and the area for development was to know about the perfect techniques of how to hold dumbbells which I need to work upon.
LO 2 – In this LO I need to talk about the challenges which I faced while doing this experience, one such challenge which I can recall was that during the start of my gym I was a lazy guy, so I was not so self-motivated to go to the gym and do workout and due to this I was skipping many days and was not going to gym this was one of the toughest challenges which I had overcome after being dedicated to my experience. And the other challenge I faced was the issue with the weather because during the rainy season it had been difficult for me to go to the gym as due to rain I could not able to go to the gym and it become a barrier for me.
LO 4 – I had shown consistent involvement by going to the gym every day in the morning at 6 am and doing workouts. And not only to complete CAS experience but also I have to see myself as fit which keeps me activated all the time and gives strength and activeness in doing or playing any other sport or working on any project.
