Anand Utsav was an event held at Fountainhead for the support staff and the admin staff. This event aimed to express our gratitude towards the staff members for all their help and support in events throughout the years. I volunteered in this event as it was a great opportunity for me to be thankful to them for everything they have done for us since we were little kids.

LO 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
To make this event a success, we were all divided into teams to help with the decor and the arrangement of the games since the event took place at two different venues simultaneously. As a volunteer, it felt great collaborating with people and working together to make others happy. There were also no obstacles because everyone was organized and easy to work with.

LO 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
This event was held because we believed that the support staff deserved to celebrate in a similar manner to how we do at our occasions. Looking back, I’m very happy I decided to volunteer. The support staff’s excitement while participating in games and dancing to music demonstrated the ability of individuals to make others happy. They were extremely happy about this, and I shall never forget the smiles on their faces. I believe it is our duty to repay those who work so hard for us. I’m thankful that they got to spend time with their friends and have a day completely dedicated to them.
