The sustainable drive was a group project of 5 members, where we wanted to address the importance of sustainable life to be followed by everyone and how can we live a sustainable life. This was our CAS project where our supervision was Utsav sir.
we focused on spreading awareness towards a sustainable life where are first focus was on taking a session with grade 6 students and to give them information and facts about sustainable periods and how it can be applied in their lives and whats the importance of it to be applied by them. After taking up this session we made a instagram account with the name sustainable drive where for a month we posted posters on giving sustainable tips upon all the aspects of life like ( sustainable traveling, sustainable schooling) we thought of opening this page so that we could reach to the larger audience about our project.
The planning of the project started on 1st December 2021, and the project will come to an end on 15th February 2022. While doing this project, I demonstrated the following

LO 3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
As a group the first problem which we had to tackle was agreeing to do a project on a topic in which we are equally interested and that was a long process because some ideas which I liked but they didn’t and then some ideas which they liked but I didn’t agreed to it and then finally we could get to 3 things that we can do but we were confused on the path that which one out of the 3 we should get forward with so their Utsav sir helped us in selecting which is the most approachable and durable plan and the sustainable drive idea was finalized now how to work on the plan was also a big task where we went to Utsav sir for help he booked a session of ours with grade 6 girls which was smooth process but then to present our ideas with grade 6 girls we had to make a presentation so their we divided slides to ourselves so that everyone could contribute to make the presentation and we conducted the session. Then after we thought that only conducting the session with grade 6 students is not enough we should actually reach to a larger audience so then we thought of making a instagram page of sustainable drive and posted posters on it for a month.
LO 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
communication skills and working in a group is what I am bad in but as a group was with someone who I know for a long and I am comfortable to talk to them that worked as an advantage to me. As will working in a group I have a lot of disagreement because many times I have a strong opinion on something to be followed while my other group members wan’t agree to my idea so we have a disagreement between us which is why working in a group is not my cup of tea as I think we had to sometimes because to come on a same page we had to let go our ideas and listen to others. But this CAS experience actually developed my communication and socializing skills
LO 6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
As are project was on addressing a global issue which is sustainable life. Sustainable living describes a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual’s or society’s use of the Earth’s natural resources, and one’s personal resources. It is often called “earth harmony living” or “net zero living”. Sustainable is a global issue which I worked on and tried to reach out to the target audience.
LO 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
while creating the posters and posting it on instagram we had a choice of using already made posters from google and copy pasting them and then upload it to our instagram page and but we choose not to do it and not to break our ethics by plagiarizing the posters which we uploaded so we made our own posters on canva and also mentioned the bibliography of it on the end of the poster if we got any information for the poster from any cite so that we follow the procedure of academic honesty and do not loose our ethics while carry out our experience.
