I want to pursue programming as my career and it is something that I am most interested in. Being a programmer, I have to learn several different programming languages based on different situations. One of the most prominent languages in the world currently is Python. It is used to create web applications, mobile applications, program softwares etc. Python is a must learn language for a programmer and I wanted to learn it for a long time. This is why I chose this as my CAS experience.

While learning the language, there were a lot of ups and downs. There were countless new features and codes to be learned but as I already have experience in programming, remembering the syntax was easy. The weak part was that the language was a lot more complicated than the others that I had learnt in the past. Now that I was able to sort out what was difficult in learning the language, I started working and practicing more on the tougher parts of the course. The sorting actually helped me balance my strength and weakness and increased my learning potential and speed for the course. The practice that I did for the tougher areas helped me learn the language both practically and theoretically which also let me remember almost everything that I learned from the course.

Python is a language that has a set of code to be remembered and logic to be build to use it in real world situation.This experience was a very challenging one as python was all-together a new programming language that I had no experience in as well as doing an online course does not help in building the logic for the language as it directly states what the learner has to do even if it is interactive. Building the logic by self is in itself a challenge which was very hard to overcome. This case was very similar to when I did an online course for another programming language called JAVA. To overcome this, I had to search up some situations and problems that I can solve using python by applying logic. This actually helped me in growing my mind. 

Undertaking this, even though it was difficult for me, I have felt really great that I have learnt what I wanted to for a long time and undertaking these kinds of things is the only part where one can develop the skills.
