Warli art is a very old art that portrays the Indian culture. Warli art is a tribal art from the tribes of Maharashtra and some areas of Gujarat. Warli art was originally created by women folks and it represents the normal social life of a human with pictures of human beings, animals and scenes from the daily life, and does not depict a god or some mythological figure. It mainly consists of 2 colours red and white. Red is the colour of teracotta layer that is put on the walls to smoothen them as warli art is mainly made on walls . White colour is used to paint on the red walls and is traditionally created by rice flour and water and the gum is used as a binder, the white paint is used due to the clear visibility on the red background.

The challenges I faced was , i took the challange to directly draw the drawing on the wall instead of trying it on paper first. The stick figures in Warli are very different from the normal ones and have some volume in them and are mostly identifical with a uniform size which was very hard to achieve for a rookie like me.
L5 :-
I got the inspiration of making Warli art from my mom , she runs an NGO which promotes tribal art forms and the backward classes and gives chance to sell their product and has organised event like Kala Varso and Tapi Utsav. So me and my mom worked collabartively in the project and her creativity and ideas made the drawing more elegant. Though all the benefits there is a big generation gap between us and hence there were some creative differences we needed to tackle and we did that successfully.
L6 :-
These tribes and arts are getting lost in the fast pace world and as the generation is getting forward these arts are being unappreciated and the grandchildren and children of the original artists are not giving importance in learning the art and soon we would forget this unique art and our culture.
