I love being in nature and hence whenever I got out somewhere with my family, we always go for a small hike around the place. So, this time we went with our friends and decided to hike up a mountain early morning.

LO 1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
As I mentioned before I love nature and I would love to hike around nature. But one of my weakness is that I can’t wake up really early and even if I do, I don’t really feel fresh. Because of this I sometimes didn’t on the hike as I felt lazy. But then, the other day when we got out and started hiking, I started to feel fresh and enjoyed the hike. This was because stamina is one of my advantages. I didn’t get tired until we reached the top of the mountain. I feel it is important to know you strength and weakness as it help you in future for making decisions. For example, for me laziness is a weakness but stamina is my strength, so next time I would know that its not lack of stamina that is holding me back but its my laziness.

Overall, hiking with my friends was a very enjoyable experience for me as I got to know my strengths and weakness and it also made the whole trip worthy. I would love to go on more hikes like this in future with my other friends.
