I have always wanted to start a blog through which I would be able to communicate my research in a way that is not biased and is able to help people gain knowledge that they would require to know what is happening around the world. Through this experience, I was able to make this into action and so this was an experience that was able to help me develop new skills and learn a lot of new things which then helped me appreciate the various things in life.
Learning Outcome 1:
As building a blog page from scrap is not something that happens overnight and it requires many skills. It isn’t necessary that everyone needs to obtain strengths and so it is important for everyone to remember to ask for help depending on their strengths and weaknesses. The way that a knowledge of the ones owns weaknesses helps the person to understand what to focus on more than another. Not only this, finding out my strengths and weaknesses helped me develop a new set of skills relating to the production of literary pieces and web designing.
Learning Outcome 2:
Certain challenges such as primary research, website building, and website designing were important to overcome so that the blog made was able to reach the aim it was made for. Not only this but due to the blog, I was also able to develop skills like communication skills and self-management skills which helped me to keep this blog going on, and then it also helped me outside this experience. Certain challenges such as content creation have been taken up which is an essential yet tough part of the process. Through this, I was able to develop critical thinking and writing skills which helped make the blog even more appealing.
Learning Outcome 4:
For such an experience, it is important to show commitment in the form of posting blogs as regularly as possible. Even though I had a lot of tasks in between these blogs and had to do my own research, I still tried to post as regularly as possible so that I am able to keep up the pace and make the blog more effective and lively while being informative of the topics discussed.
Learning Outcome 6:
The blogs that I have produced help to provide information for those who are unaware and the information given is all authentic with no sort of fabrication involved. This will give a sort of local solution to a more global issue of manipulation and influence on knowledge done by various parties. Through the blog, I have hoped to bring even a small amount of change to this so that people around me are getting the information that is right and unbiased.
Learning Outcome 7:
Even though I strive to have no biasness in the content that I produce, there are some details that might be offending some people or some people may have disagreements. Not only this, but the ethical implication for the same could be an invalid source or a problem arising due to something I have written. Through this, I was a little concerned but then I thought to myself that everyone will disagree on something or the other, I just have to get the information out there in the world.
