Swapper stop is an done event initiated by the business management and economics team. The aim of the event was to promote sustainability. I like doing photography in event. Most of the time people don’t find some reusable item, rather they is discarded which results in a huge collection of waste. The event was organize to spread awareness to avoid the wastage of resources and to instead make them reusable. I contributed to this by volunteering for the photography.
LO 2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
While planning for the photobooth I ensure that everyone should get an authentic experience for there photograph. The challenge was there were many peoples coming up so it was too crowded. As it was too crowded it created
LO 5 Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
As it was my first event photographing so working with others was a bit difficult for me. As meeting new people and taking consent for clicking photographs while in the event and organizing committee. Interacting with new people and enjoying the event. It is important to work collaboratively with others as it makes the work easier.
LO 6 Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
The global issue considered here is the collection and creation of waste. This event focused on spreading awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability with the reduction in wastage. This was an most authentic experience it taught me a lot about sustainability and how effective it is?
LO 7 Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
This event allowed me to rethink my choices for all the goods I consume and during the event photography, I was able to make a choice and try to click as many photos as possible. This event aware us about this and it makes us subconsciously make a decision in favour of sustainability.
