Gym

For a very long time I was interested in joining a gym and training hard to maintain my physique. I got motivation to join the Gym after the lockdown, as during lockdown we all were not able to go out for any kind of work and due to which i felt very gloomy. From the month of August 2021 i started going to gym in order to remain fit and burn some extra calories.Being a member of Amazia club, I had rights to a fully equipped gym with a personal trainer. 

Learning Outcomes:

LO1:

Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.

Due to the lockdown my body became very lazy and I was not able to do my work properly. Since day -1  I have identified my strengths and weaknesses. I was very good at lifting heavy objects so it was very easy for me to lift heavy dumbbells which helped me to increase my muscle power whereas i was very weak in the terms of stamina, so during my initial days my supervisor advised me to start with short runs and as the time passed i started increasing my running time. This greatly helped me to increase my stamina as well as my speed.

LO2:

Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.

As i have not performed activity like this before i lacked some of the very important aspects of it as i was not able to pop up with the stamina which is required for performing such hard exercises. It was challenging for me as due to my lazy nature I was not able to be regular in my initial days but I tried very hard and as the time passed I was able to go to the gym on a daily basis. After completing this now i do not get tired easily as well as i can do lots of pushups  and pullups and i can run faster than before due to my increased stamina. After learning this new skill I feel very proud as I have conquered my goal as well as it has helped to remain fit for the  rest of my life. I will continue to go to Gym to maintain the physical shape of my body.

LO4:

Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experience.

It was very important to maintain commitment and perseverance in this experience. I had to go to the gym on a regular basis even if I am feeling very low or there is a pain in my muscles.It was very hard for me as during my initial days i was not taking  it seriously due to the fact that i eagerly wanted to join a gym. But as the time passed i was able to pass this obstacle i started going to gym on the regular basis.It was difficult for me but i overcame my laziness and now i am able to go to the gym and complete any kind of workout.
