Workout has always been my motivation since I was a teen. Without workout, I could not start a day out since, due to my assignments and deadlines I used to procrastinate a lot. I have always been fit and conscious until last year when we had a covid pandemic and I usually used to play basketball, but since DP started I used to see myself all occupied with the examination and assignments. In order to overcome my lethargy and gain fitness, I even used to wake up at 6:00 in the morning but that too flared out. During the lockdown, I had no option to motivate myself and so I started working out early in the morning to keep my day good to go. I taught myself to overcome the mental barriers I had set up for myself and tried to maintain consistency in my workout. However, sometimes when I felt lethargic I used to push myself to continue. Throughout this activity I gained a lot of confidence and fitness – My body posture visibility improved a lot while doing some exercise.  

Before starting, I knew that I was quite fit since I used to workout every day during lockdown but used to procrastinate a lot. I usually struggle with my core and legs. I made it a point to focus on my strengths and improve my weaknesses. I used to search for a workout where the main focus was on legs and core since I have a very bulgy and tired tummy. While looking for the planning, I was committed better if I chose to do a “ Challenge” that helped me be accountable day by day. Hence, I can improve my weakness and help to expand my strength. 

At first, It was very difficult to start with the workout since I procrastinate for about a month or more, and bringing back the lethargy was quite an effort made. So I ensured that rather than brainstorming my workout, I looked out for professional fitness enthusiasts from youtube who can help me to undergo my challenges. I tried Chloe Ting and Emi Wong’s challenges for legs, arms, core, etc. Whenever doing the workout, I ensure that I am burning fat as well as building my strength. I used to confidently finish all the challenges needed to make my body posture improve. There were days when my body didn’t support a few workouts due to some physiological concern or lethargy so at that moment I used to push myself to try new workouts in order to avoid procrastination.

However, there were many challenges for me when I came across a selection of challenges since a lot of workout challenges were to be paid in order to track our process, which was very helpful for us. Considering the financial constraints due to the COVID pandemic, I was tempted to attempt the pirated version of the same which led me to academic honesty. However, working with the pirated version helped me a lot since I can get extra rest time because of ads that youtube provides. 

Overall, the journey of workouts helped me a lot to set a few positive mental barriers and help me transfer my body the way I want to. However, procrastination was the major happening throughout the process but still, I used to push myself so that there is no delay in my process. I would also like to thank my parents since they were with me since day 1 and help me to motivate myself to do workouts throughout the journey. My personal connection throughout this journey was very best since I can get rid of my bulgy body and have transformed it to the best possible way.
