Digital Art is boosting in today’s world , with the help of various software and skills almost anything can be done digitally . It is highly important in today’s world that the artists and designers are highly equipped with Digital Drawing and painting skills along with  conventional drawing skills.

Conventional Drawing being a hobby for me , since the age of 8. Till now I only know how to do perspective sketching , product sketching , still life and many more. I wanted to grow more into the field , that’s when I thought of channelizing the same into digital Medium. I came across a beginner’s software called Autodesk Sketchbook , and I began to sketch and understand the software.

At the first there are many difficulties , I use to select the wrong options , I wasn’t comfortable drawing using a digital pen , because of the difference in the pressure and grip , and due to lack of knowledge was only able to produce basic and common sketch , I wasn’t unique and artistic , but as the process and my knowledge stepped up , I gained more knowledge about the tools and functions , which helped me sketch according to my convenience , and helped me build my unique artistic mark on art. YouTube tutorials was a good source to gain more knowledge about the software. As I grew more in the learning and discovering area , I started producing and creating quality and professional artworks , that took around 3 – 5 hours to finish. After completing them I had this sense of accomplishment , which felt really good.

This was something , which I needed to do constantly , and I needed to be committed to it. Arts being something ,which already falls under the area of interest , I didn’t need a lot of push for commitment towards it , it was something that was natural to me , but still I took it step by step. I started off with 15 min quick sketches , and then gradually I worked on longer artworks , and there were times I use to spent 4-5 hours on a single artwork.

I demonstrated learner profile curiosity , as I demonstrated great interest towards the task , and went in depth towards it ,in order to improve myself. Benefit was that I learned and acquired new skill , which will help me later in my subject design technology for sketching various sketches in my IA.
