Convocation- Welcome committee (Activity)

I volunteered at the convocation of the batch of 2022 FS. I was a part of the welcome committee, where I helped distribute gowns and caps to the students, and greeted the parents and teachers. Overall, the experience was very good as I developed my skills and enjoyed the process. This experience comes under creativity and service.

LO 1: Identify your own strengths and develop areas for growth. I enjoy participating in such activities and also wanted to develop my communication and self-management skills. This was a perfect opportunity for me to develop my communication skills as my job involved working with many people.

LO 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process. As I mentioned before, my challenge was to develop my communication and self-management skills. In the beginning, I was a little nervous but then just in a matter of a few minutes, with the guidance of my teachers and friends, I was able to do my job.

LO 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively. I was a part of the welcome committee, where I had to work collaboratively and coordinate with other members.

LO 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions. Since this event was a formal event organized by the school itself, there were a few sets of rules ad ethics we had to follow. Such as behaving and speaking politely and respectfully, Indian-formal dress code, not using devices, etc.
