Gym Training

Physical fitness has always been a problem for me and the worst part is that I become lazy to improve on it. That is when I took gymming as a CAS experience. It was the best way to get me motivated and improve my physical fitness and strength. Choosing this has allowed me to focus on my physical health as well as my mental health. I used a help of a professional trainer for my gym training.

During gym training, I got to know about a lot of my weaknesses. I found out that I wasn’t able to do leg exercises well. My leg muscles were weak and I wasn’t able to do heavy work with them. Another weakness I found was my endurance. My endurance and stamina was so low that I got tired quickly while working out. The importance of knowing these weaknesses was very high. Knowing these allowed me to set up a schedule for the workout such as what body part I should work on the most. On the other hand, I found out many areas that I was very good with such as upper body workout. My chest and shoulder muscles were pretty strong already. The feeling that I got from knowing that was overwhelming. After getting all of this, I have been working hard to overcome my weakness and at the moment I can work way better with my legs than I used to before. I worked a lot on these faults and areas of growth to make the muscles more and more stronger, ultimately increasing my physical fitness.

Improving physical fitness is a very long and time-consuming task. It needs a lot of commitment and perseverance as there are a lot of things that are to be done such as following a constant diet for several months, working out everyday without any leaves etc. Working out everyday is not as bad as having a constant diet for several months, I was not able to eat some of my favorite things. Additionally, for me, it took around 6-7 months to develop some physical strength that was physically evident. I don’t know how I felt but I kind of enjoyed gym training. At first, it was very difficult to commit to the activity because I was getting tired everyday and I was lazy at the same time. But slowly I started to enjoy the activity and now I know how important commitment and perseverance is as it helps a lot in the development of the thing one commits in such as  did in training. I can now clearly see the difference after this commitment.

At the end, taking this activity as a CAS experience has allowed me to focus on my physical health and commit to it. My trainer has helped me a lot in this as well and the greatest thing is that I enjoy this activity and it will help me achieve what I pursue.
