Table tennis is what I played in to be physically active. CAS experience helped me to start playing table tennis and keep up the fitness of my body. In a world where people are very lazy due to technological advancements, quarantined life, and excuses, I managed to stay fit and healthy by playing table tennis.
The learning outcome which I gained from this activity is LO 4. Because I showed commitment to daily play table tennis even though we weren’t allowed to go outside due to pandemic (Covid 19). This pandemic made me show a commitment towards table tennis. This activity was difficult because in lockdowns we aren’t allowed to go out without the standards of procedure, I maintained every standard of procedure and went to play table tennis so that I can complete my CAS experience as well as I can stay fit and healthy. It made me feel so good because I was physically fir in a virus pandemic. To go every day and follow all rules of covid was a commitment which was required to complete this activity. It is not easy for me to show commitment, because I can only commit things if I can do that activity. Showing commitment is important because then we can stick to our goals.
The learning outcome which I gained from this activity is LO 7. Because I was following all the rules and regulations while playing this physical sport. I played with ethics and morals so that the game goes well and well. Ethical issues affect me because if we don’t follow proper rules then there is no point in the game. We can only learn and play better when we play with all the ethics. When we play with ethics then we also know our strengths and weaknesses and hence we can focus on that to become a good player. This made me feel focused as I knew where I was struggling to win and as I now know I can play table tennis better.
This activity in my life will be used to keep me fit and physically strong throughout the time. I achieved success because I learned a new physical game and also kept myself fit in this covid 19 tough times. The highlight was when I was winning from the coach. This also bought me enjoyment because I enjoyed playing 1v1 matches with my coach and when I was playing in lockdown I enjoyed it as there was no physical activity for me apart from this.
