Cooking (creativity/ activity)

I think of cooking as very therapeutic as well as fun. It teaches me the importance of patience in life. I wasn’t able to cook for a long time dur to school as well as assignments. But lockdown as well as CAS gave me the opportunity to take time out for it. I cooked Manchurian for me and my family which is my favorite starter of all time.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

I sometimes am very impatient and tend to hurry things. It was important to wait sometimes for e.g. to let the gravy cool down before adding anything else. This experience taught me the importance of patience in everyday things and activities.

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

It was difficult to commit to cooking and to overcome the inactivity I had been experiencing for a long time. But I committed my mind to it and ended up feeling fulfillment.
