7.Volunteering in Swappers stop.creativity and activity.

I am going to take part in the swappers stop event in the games corner and let people play.I chose this CAS experience because I’m interested in business, and the business management team was in charge of planning this event. I decided to take part in the games area because I wanted to. Being a part of this event forced me to think critically and collaborate with three other participants. The first step was to consider the games that should be available and that should be business-related, so we created two games that involved matching corporate logos with their names and slogans. the game had 20 total pieces, a one-minute timer, and a target of ten correct answers. The other game was that there were 5 clues of a firm provided to you and you had to guess the name of the company and there were four of them.this CAS experience comes under creativity as it is exploring and extending ideas leading to an original or interpretive product or performance.and also activity as there was physical exertion contributing to a healthy lifestyle as there was a lot of stuff to move around.

So the learning outcomes involved in this are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.

so the learning outcome number 1 is Identifying own strengths and develop areas for growth. So I identified my strength by knowing that I am good at decoration, so I decorated the chart, which looked very good, and the areas in which I developed growth were communicating, because I was not very good at communicating with people before, but talking to so many people while everyone was playing definitely improved my communication skills which allowed me to turn my weakness into strength and be able to have better social skills.it was shifting the benches again and again and going up and and down the blocks to have a all the specific and required stuff.

the learning outcome number 2 is Demonstrating the challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process. So we took on many problems, such as finding games that were related to business, which was a difficult effort, and finding companies that everyone would recognise, and the new abilities that were acquired in the process were critical thinking and communication skills.there were a lot of challenges such as people actually coming and trying out our games as it was in the corner but as people had come it attracted others.another challenge was that it could be easy to cheat as when someone was playing people had look from behind and see what is the correct answer and the wrong one which allowed them to have a better scoring performance then would have originally had.

The third learning outcome is to demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience. For this LO, we planned everything from where our stall would be to arranging the logos, slogans, and names that would make it difficult for the participants to solve, and we divided the job into four phases to make it easier for us to carry out the CAS experience.we had used english as the most preferred language but sometimes hindi was used to make it easier for the person to understand the game or even help them out.

the learning outcome number 4 is Showing commitment to and perseverance in CAS experience so this LO really mad me show commitment in this event as i had many submissions to make but i prioritized this event more than them which made me show commitment to the CAS experience and giving time to it outside of school and also for 2 weeks discussing with the team and the teacher on how it could be better and be done smoothly.

The learning outcome number 5 is Demonstrating the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.this was one of the main part of the event as me and my 3 friends worked collaboratively which made us realise how effectfull working collaboratively is and how easier our work is after we work together it saved our time and and we had faster decision making as there was a lot of thinking required.the learning outcome number 6 is Demonstrating engagement with issues of global significance so as our event was named swappers stop it was basically about thrifting and not to buy new clothes and everyone gathered their clothes and gave them to the school and in exchange for it they got point and they bought themselves clothes for them after it which showed how to not waste clothes and showed global significance.

the learning outcome number 7 is Recognizing and consider the ethics of choices and actions so we had considered the ethics and our choices as we let the game free so anyone could play which gave us more participants and also how we introduce the people to the game and how to play it which can be also make it look more interesting which even helped us getting a lot of good feedbacks from the teachers and the students.the ethics were to treat everyone equally and not help anyone cheat and not allow anyone to see the game but some people obviously did as it got crowded but our ethics, choices and actions made it better as it would make the game enjoyable for everyone.
