Humans want more and more infrastructure but we need oxygen too. With the growing infrastructure due to less place more and more forests and plantations are cleared in order to create more and better infrastructure and this is leading to a decrease in oxygen in the atmosphere and a decrease in oxygen is now leading to many problems. And that is why I thought of growing plants in my garden. The Lo´s exhibited in this experience are Lo2,Lo6 and Lo7.

Lo2 which is Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process is exhibited as I did not know how to plant this is was a new skill that I learned as planting a plant also has various steps such as first finding good soil for where to plant, then digging it, then putting the seeds inside the hole, then put some nutrition in it by putting some fertilizer, and then fill the hole using soil and the last step is putting water. So this was a new skill that I learned as earlier I did not know how to plant.

Lo6 which is Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance is exhibited as this experience covered 1 SDG which is Climate action and through this experience, I can contribute with reducing pollution as we know plants inhale Carbon Dioxide which if is a lot in the environment it can harm the atmosphere, and then plants while exhale Oxygen which is very much needed as many lives depend on oxygen and without oxygen we can´t live.

Lo7 which is Recognizing and consider the ethics of choices and actions is exhibited as I grew these plants in my garden so that I can supervise these plants wherever they are being planted properly or are they getting the best fertilizer in order to help them grow that is how this lo is exhibited.
