Completing WHO courses

→) During the lockdown period, people were scared due to the coronavirus. This allowed me to explore more about the virus and about how to protect myself and allowed me to learn the antigen covid test. I looked it up on the internet and turned out that World Health Organisation(WHO) was spreading awareness about the virus through free courses on its official website. This allowed me to learn more about the virus and about precautions to prevent it.

Lo – 3 Demonstrate how to initiate a CAS experience.

→) This course had more than 5 different modules and each module had its chapters.With the ongoing academic year and with other classes I was supposed to make a daily timetable and follow it to fulfill the requirements of the course. After making an efficient timetable I managed to follow it till the end of this course and even got 90 percent on the final test because of which I got a completion certificate.

Lo – 4 Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experience 

→) This required commitment as the course required a week to complete and I had to complete the modules. To get the completion certificate of the course, I completed the daily sessions and took the classes regularly to get great marks on the test which I was supposed to take at the end of the course. 

Lo – 6   Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance 

→)This was a global issue at the time and is still. People need to know about the virus and they should be aware of the precautions they should take to prevent from getting contaminated by this virus.  I managed to share the knowledge I got from these courses with my friends and even told them about the website so that they can learn about many different diseases and methods to prevent them.
