Anchoring at Farewell

In this CAS experience I volunteered to do anchoring at the farewell party of our seniors in the school. I was one of the 5 anchors, and had to introduce performances and host games during the event.

While the entire experience was fun, one of the most significant challenges I faced was communicating properly. Initially I was not very confident and enthusiastic when presenting. However, after several practice sessions I felt confident and ready for the challenge of presenting. I had to attend early morning and weekend practice sessions, which also required significant time contribution.

The event was a success, and people even appreciated me for my anchoring style. I felt very happy that I was able to make the event fun, and also develop my verbal and non-verbal communication skills. I also had to work with a large group of people in the event, who helped me improve my communication skills and make the event successful. I realised the importance and benefits of working together, which I had not done very often previously.

In conclusion, this was an experience that I enjoyed a lot, as I got to spend time with my friends, work together on a fun project, and develop my communication and performance skills. I would definitely do this again if I got the chance to.
