Disturbing food (service,activity)

So my parents are doing this for 5 years and I always wonder even I wanted to do this alone and want to be consistent in doing this, so every time on my parent’s birthday or anniversary we visit them to distribute food to them, cut the cake with them, talk to them about what’s going on with them, knowing their routine, it, so we visited Blind school, old age home, and orphanage.

Learning outcome 3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience.

I had to plan the areas and the type of meal that I was supposed to donate. And also contact them asking for their permission, when are they free? Is anyone coming today to visit them? Take the timings from them.

Learning Outcome 4: show commitment to perseverance in CAS experiences.

I showed an optimum level of commitment as I had to dedicate some time to package the food into disposable foil containers as well as decide the menu, and I have to reach there by time because they have a timetable to prepare so for example, at this time only they will eat lunch or dinner, and so we have to ask them what to give them in the food they are not allowed to eat so some junk so in old age home there are many people who had diabetes, so they were not allowed to eat the cake.

Learning Outcome 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

I worked with my family in order to divide the workload and tasks to manage this project. So my mother talks to them about the food so what they can eat, and because I am a person who loves giving them surprises, I select and order the cake (completely depends on) and because I don’t know how to drive my father to drop me at the location.

Learning Outcome 6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance.

Poverty is a major world issue that leads to world hunger Blind school, old age homes, and orphanages are non-profit firms and no one really comes and donate food, so there are times when they are completely hungry and no one really supports them and There is limited choice in an old age home when it comes to living space and choice in food. Also, because they don’t have funds at times, they have to use their own money also.
