{"id":8690,"date":"2022-10-11T03:47:10","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T03:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/classof2023.fountainheadschools.org\/?p=8690"},"modified":"2022-10-11T03:47:10","modified_gmt":"2022-10-11T03:47:10","slug":"swappers-stop-painting-stall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/classof2023.fountainheadschools.org\/index.php\/2022\/10\/11\/swappers-stop-painting-stall\/","title":{"rendered":"Swappers Stop ( Painting Stall )."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In order to gain experience for my CAS activity, I offered to operate a face painting (and hand painting, as well) for&nbsp;the Swappers Stop event on August 2, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this, I stepped outside of my comfort zone. Additionally, I had to be patient with the visitors. It takes patience to complete this face painting because mistakes can happen and you may need to start over. L1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, I have never run a stall at a event&nbsp;of any type. I have never done anything like this. I had to overcome difficulties on my own because I had no prior expertise. I also improved my social, communication, and self-management abilities. It is beneficial for my future and for my academic success. L2 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn&#8217;t get many details; all I knew was that we had to face-paint using &#8220;earthy&#8221; colors. Additionally, the artworks had to promote conservation of nature. We developed the concepts on our own. Choosing a color scheme and the types of designs we could or should do comes first. Afterward, purchase those colors and get brushes and tumblers. determining the cost depending on the customer&#8217;s pricing range and the cost of the resources. Then we created a poster that we could display for the public to view. then practicing the painting a few times prior to the occasion. L3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had to be patient with each person that came to our stall because there was a large crowd there. A few times it became hectic, but we still managed to handle them , and achieved breaking even. L4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This being a group event, we worked as a team. Since the team consisted of our BM classmates, the engagement was smooth and we ended up developing several skills. L5 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The theme of this event was &#8220;sustainable,&#8221; and the face painting artworks reflected that concern. Therefore, we ended up broadly propagating the concept.
