Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Throughout the experience, I was able to discover the areas where I excel and those where I need to improve.My strength is that I am able to amalgamate with people easily which helps me to work efficiently and also helps me to learn new things from them.On the other hand my weakness is that i was not able to manage and assign tasks to the volunteers effectively, it is because this was my first time organising any event.It is critical to understand your own strengths and shortcomings in order to identify where you stand. It feels amazing to have identified my skills and limitations, and I intend to focus on improving and eliminating my weaknesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LO<\/strong>2<\/p>\n\n\n\n Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The most challenging part of this activity was that I was unable to manage and assign tasks to the volunteers effectively, it is because this was my first time organising any event.I overcome this challenge with the support of my friends on the organising committee. It was a fantastic feeling because this experience was one of a kind. Because I enjoy taking on new challenges, it is important for me to give my all. Working collaboratively is a skill that everyone should have, thus the skills I learnt during this experience will be quite useful in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LO<\/strong>3<\/p>\n\n\n\n Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This experience took a lot of mental strength and coordination skill because I had to come down unique decorating ideas as well as communicate with my colleagues to complete work efficiently. I had no idea how to handle the position in the organising committee before organising this activity, but I learnt via experience and improved on my weaknesses. Planning this type of event is usually a difficult task, but I managed it. On the day of the group 4 event, I only hoped that everything went well for us. It is usually a good idea to plan any event before starting it since it allows us to identify any problems that may arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LO<\/strong>4<\/p>\n\n\n\n Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It was challenging for me because I had never organised a such event before. It was really stressful for me at first, but as I began to confer with other members of the organising committee, it became easier for me.
