LO – 1 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been trekking since my childhood, I was nearly 4 years old when I first went on trekking with my family where I did the whole trek by myself except for the last day. I love trekking, the last trek I did was nearly 5 years ago and then after I gained a lot more weight, I realised in this unfit condition it would be really hard to do a 14,000 ft trek. I have experience in trekking as I was trained that way, but carrying luggage and doing the whole trek was something I hadn\u2019t done before. I am fast, I have a good grip and I have good experience. But I get tired easily, have some breathing issues and my muscles pain a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO – 2 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had taken a challenge that will work on the area which needs development, and majorly after working on it do something that shows commitment and progress my hardworking. I had also taken a green pledge where I decided to collect all the non-biodegradable waste thrown by other trekkers and throw it afterwards when we reach back to the base camp. I also developed my social skills by connecting with several people and helping them as much as I can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO – 3 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had taken Trekking as a CAS experience as this is a thing I have done independently without anyone\u2019s help, I decided to go on a moderate difficulty level trek where I could challenge myself, as well as enjoy and connect to people. In this CAS experience, I thought about and evaluated the pros and cons of trekking at this age, after seeing more pros than cons I started searching treks, and after selecting the trek I started booking my flight and Hotel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO – 4 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been training for trekking every day by the workout suggested by the trekking firm that I went with, every day in the morning for 2 weeks I went running 5 km every day in 35 mins which would satisfy that I would be able to do the trek with proper fitness, to enhance myself I also did the same thing with the trekking shoes on which made it a bit difficult but at last I was able to do it. Then to make it harder I also created a 3kg backpack and with that, I did walk for 45 mins every day. I have also learned about photography from my father as he is a trekker and a photographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO – 5 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I learned about working collaboratively as I went with my friends we had done everything together and worked collaboratively as well as on the trek, there were people I met for the first time on the trek, they were from different cities, I also learned from my friends, how to interact and communicate with new people from other places whom I didn’t know, they also taught me how to be ready before the trek and how to manage yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
