I have been playing the sport since a lot of time but I wasn’t in practice because of the pandemic. In the entire lockdown I had lost all my endurance and stamina which was the most important factor in frisbee. I had to make sure that I get back all that I had lost to ensure a good performance in the tournaments. I did go to practice sessions where I got myself back in proper shape and form to play well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I had to ensure that I maintained a proper diet and restrict myself from eating a lot of junk food so that all my hard work would give a result. Also, I had to push myself a lot because I had almost gone back to 0 in terms of my endurance. It had become very difficult for me to recover but I still managed to get back to where I had left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LO5 – Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the first tournament, which was a 5v5 tournament; I had played with all my friends. Because the tournament wasn’t at a large scale and I was playing with my friends I did not face a lot of problems. I knew how my teammates play and knew how my opponents would as well. Although we did make a few strategies and focused on playing together and as a team so that we could win. In the next tournament which was held at a very big stage; I was playing with one of the best teams of Surat. It was my first time playing with all of them (in a tournament) but I had to make sure to gain their trust and make sure that I can play as a team and would help them in places where they’d need me. I wasn’t able to gel up a lot in the beginning but as a few points passed by, I was able to understand their mindset and tried to match our mindsets. This way I was able to work with them as a team and we could ensure that we won almost all the games. This was we made a good bond and also secured the 2nd position in the entire tournament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As a second sport, I have been playing ultimate frisbee for the past 7 years.
